Charter Information
The Alpha Omega Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was installed as the University of Pittsbugh on the 14th day of February, 1948 becoming the fourty-eigth chapter of the fraternity. The initiation of the twenty active members and 1 honorary was presented by the Eta Chapter at the Ohio State University. Installation of the chapter was presided by Brother Bernard mcGregor, director of the West Virginia university band and counselor of District X of Kappa Kappa Psi.
The 21 Charter members are: Earl E Allen Jr, Robert G Anderson, John A Baldinger Jr, George S Brosky, Walter M Edge Jr, William J Farrell, Carl W Feick Jr, William W Focer, John W Hanks, Harry V Herlinger Jr, William M Katz, Earl R Kopsofsky, J Edward Lee, W Creighton McClintock, Charles A Rickmond, Robert H Smith, James J Scannell Jt, Norbert Shanblatt, Murray K Weber, Calvin C Williams, and their director, Robert L Arthur, as an honorary.
